Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none (vrata category announced; specific names not yet given)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames vrata as both loka-upakāra (world-benefiting discipline) and a direct means to gain Hari’s grace, culminating in abhaya—inner and outer fearlessness through divine protection.
Bhakti is expressed here as pleasing Hari through disciplined observances; the emphasis is not mere austerity, but devotional practice that draws the Lord’s prasāda (favor) and protection.
The verse signals ritual discipline (vrata-vidhi) as practical dharma-knowledge—preparing for later procedural details such as timing, rules, and observance structure (often supported by kalpa-style ritual method).
