Bhāgīratha’s Bringing of the Gaṅgā
Wahai Yang Maha Mulia jiwanya, kepada-Mu hamba mempersembahkan hormat bakti.
Narada (in a hymnic/invocatory section, offering salutations)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches seeing the Divine as the inner essence of cosmic functions—energy (ūrjā), directionality (diśā), Time (kāla), and fire (agni)—and responding with reverent surrender (namaḥ).
Bhakti here is expressed as namaskāra: recognizing the Lord’s presence in powerful universal principles (like Time and Fire) and offering heartfelt homage to the Mahātman beyond fear and change.
It reflects Vedic cosmological mapping used in ritual thought—directions (diśa) and Fire (Agni) as key ritual/cosmic principles—supporting correct orientation and reverence in mantra-based worship.
