Śokanivāraṇa: Non-brooding, Impermanence, Contentment, and Śuka’s Renunciation
पूजां न लभते कांचित्पुनर्द्धंद्वेषु मज्जति । गर्भस्य सह जातस्य सप्तमीमीदृशीं दशाम् ॥ ५५ ॥
pūjāṃ na labhate kāṃcitpunarddhaṃdveṣu majjati | garbhasya saha jātasya saptamīmīdṛśīṃ daśām || 55 ||
Dia tidak memperoleh sebarang penghormatan atau pemujaan, lalu sekali lagi tenggelam dalam pasangan pertentangan (suka–duka, untung–rugi). Demikianlah keadaan jīva yang berjasad pada tahap ketujuh, sejak saat lahir bersama tubuh yang lahir dari rahim.
