Śokanivāraṇa: Non-brooding, Impermanence, Contentment, and Śuka’s Renunciation
नाज्ञानप्रभवं दुःखमेकं शोचितुमर्हति । अशोचन्प्रतिकुर्वीत यदि पश्येदुपक्रमम् ॥ १३ ॥
nājñānaprabhavaṃ duḥkhamekaṃ śocitumarhati | aśocanpratikurvīta yadi paśyedupakramam || 13 ||
Janganlah meratap walau satu pun dukacita yang lahir daripada kejahilan. Jika terlihat jalan untuk memulakan penawar, hendaklah bertindak menangkisnya—tanpa keluhan dan ratapan.
