द्वादश्यूर्जे शुक्लपक्षे नवम्यच्छेश्वयुज्यपि । चेत्रे भाद्र पदे चैव तृतीया शुक्लसंज्ञिता ॥ १४९ ॥
dvādaśyūrje śuklapakṣe navamyaccheśvayujyapi | cetre bhādra pade caiva tṛtīyā śuklasaṃjñitā || 149 ||
Dalam paruh terang, tithi kedua belas pada bulan Ūrja (Kārttika) dipandang sebagai tithi yang mujarab; demikian juga tithi kesembilan pada Āśvayuja (Āśvina). Pada bulan Caitra dan juga Bhādrapada, tithi ketiga turut dinamai “Śuklā”, suatu amalan terang yang membawa berkat.
