Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 94

Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

पापयुक्ते व्रणस्तस्मिन्नंगे लक्ष्म च तद्युते । स्वर्क्षांशे स्थिरयुक्ते तु नैज आगंतुकोऽन्यथा ॥ ९४ ॥

pāpayukte vraṇastasminnaṃge lakṣma ca tadyute | svarkṣāṃśe sthirayukte tu naija āgaṃtuko'nyathā || 94 ||

Jika pada suatu anggota yang berkaitan dengan petanda berdosa terdapat luka, dan bersama luka itu ditemui juga tanda pada tubuh, maka—apabila (tanda itu) terjadi pada nakshatra bulan milik diri atau bahagiannya serta disertai faktor yang tetap—ia dianggap semula jadi (naija); jika tidak, ia dianggap datang kemudian/terperoleh (āgantuka).
