The verse frames Jyotiṣa as a Vedāṅga that reads karmic indications through planetary placements and lunar measures, implying that worldly events (like birth outcomes and omens) unfold according to ordered cosmic law.
Indirectly: by showing that life-events are governed by cosmic order, it encourages steadiness and surrender—key supports for Viṣṇu-bhakti—rather than anxiety over outcomes.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa: interpretation of Budha’s placement (especially the 7th house) and lunar completion (pūrṇatā) as an omen of perceiving a bright light.
