Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 141

Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā

दशागुणैर्हता भक्त्या गुणैक्येन समागताः । शेषेऽर्कादिहते भक्ते मासाद्यैक्येन नारद ॥ १४१ ॥

daśāguṇairhatā bhaktyā guṇaikyena samāgatāḥ | śeṣe'rkādihate bhakte māsādyaikyena nārada || 141 ||

Apabila bhakti menundukkan kepelbagaian sepuluh kali ganda sifat-sifat (guṇa), seseorang mencapai kesatuan guṇa. Dan apabila baki bhakti itu pula dihanguskan lagi—seperti kekotoran dibakar oleh Surya—maka, wahai Nārada, dalam tempoh sebulan tercapailah kesatuan yang sempurna dengan Yang Maha Tertinggi.
