Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning

भास्करेंद्वो र्भचक्रांत चक्रार्द्धावधिसंस्थयोः । दृक्कल्पसाधितांशादियुक्तयोः स्वावपक्रमौ ॥ १७६ ॥

bhāskareṃdvo rbhacakrāṃta cakrārddhāvadhisaṃsthayoḥ | dṛkkalpasādhitāṃśādiyuktayoḥ svāvapakramau || 176 ||

Bagi Matahari dan Bulan—apabila berada di hujung bulatan zodiak atau pada had separuh bulatan—hendaklah ditentukan apakrama (deklinasi) masing‑masing dengan menerapkan darjah serta nilai berkaitan yang dihitung menurut dṛkkalpa (kaedah pemerhatian astronomi).
