द्विगुणेनामुना भक्ते फलं मूले न्यसेत्क्रमात् । तत्कृतिं च त्यजेद्विप्र मूलेन विभजेत्पुनः ॥ १७ ॥
dviguṇenāmunā bhakte phalaṃ mūle nyasetkramāt | tatkṛtiṃ ca tyajedvipra mūlena vibhajetpunaḥ || 17 ||
Wahai bhakta, hendaklah engkau, langkah demi langkah, meletakkan hasil yang diperoleh kembali ke dalam “mūla” (pokok) dengan menggandakannya. Kemudian, wahai brāhmaṇa, buanglah hasil perantaraan itu dan bahagikan (kira semula) sekali lagi berasaskan pokoknya.
