Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada within Moksha-dharma/Vedic time-reckoning context)
Vrata: none (tithi-discernment guidance applicable to vrata timing)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It stresses dharmic precision: sacred acts (vratas, pūjā, dāna) gain their intended fruit when performed at the correct tithi, which must be known by careful observation and calculation.
Bhakti is supported by right observance—devotional vows and worship depend on proper tithi determination, so devotion is expressed not only by feeling but by disciplined, scripturally aligned practice.
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga (astronomy/astrology): discerning tithis by the sun–moon relationship, specifically distinguishing elapsed (gata) and upcoming (eṣyā) portions for accurate ritual timing.
