Jyotiṣa-śāstra Saṅgraha: Threefold Division, Gaṇita Methods, Muhūrta, and Planetary Reckoning

लब्धस्य चापं लिप्तादि फलं शैध्र्यमिदं स्मृतम् । एतदादौ कुजादीनां चतुर्थे चैव कर्मणि ॥ १११ ॥

labdhasya cāpaṃ liptādi phalaṃ śaidhryamidaṃ smṛtam | etadādau kujādīnāṃ caturthe caiva karmaṇi || 111 ||

Bagi orang yang telah memperoleh (keadaan/hasil yang berkenaan), “cāpa” (busur) dan yang seumpamanya—seperti “lipta” (tersaput/ternoda)—dikatakan menghasilkan buah yang dinamai śaidhrya (kelemahan/kelonggaran). Ini diajarkan berlaku sejak awal bagi Marikh dan yang lain, serta demikian juga dalam jenis amalan/karma yang keempat.
