Vyākaraṇa-saṅgraha: Pada–Vibhakti–Kāraka–Lakāra–Samāsa
व्याघ्रभी राजपुरुषोऽक्षशौंडो द्विगुरुच्यते । पंचगवं दशग्रामी त्रिफलेति तु रूढितः ॥ ९२ ॥
vyāghrabhī rājapuruṣo'kṣaśauṃḍo dvigurucyate | paṃcagavaṃ daśagrāmī triphaleti tu rūḍhitaḥ || 92 ||
Seorang yang “takut harimau” disebut sebagai pegawai diraja; seorang penjudi pula digelar “yang mempunyai dua guru”. Campuran lima hasil lembu dikenali sebagai “pañcagavya”; “daśagrāmī” menandakan ukuran yang berkaitan dengan sepuluh kampung; dan “triphala” ialah nama lazim yang telah mantap bagi tiga jenis buah.
