सांगान्वेदान्गुरोर्यस्तु समधीते द्विजोत्तमः । सोऽनूचानः प्रभवति नान्यथा ग्रंथकोटिभिः ॥ १२ ॥
sāṃgānvedānguroryastu samadhīte dvijottamaḥ | so'nūcānaḥ prabhavati nānyathā graṃthakoṭibhiḥ || 12 ||
Yang terbaik antara yang dua kali lahir, yang tekun mempelajari Veda beserta Vedāṅga daripada guru—dialah sahaja menjadi anūcāna yang sejati; tidak dapat dicapai dengan cara lain, walau membaca berjuta-juta kitab.
