Sṛṣṭi-pralaya-kathana: Mahābhūta-guṇāḥ, Vṛkṣa-indriya-vādaḥ, Prāṇa-vāyu-vyavasthā
ततः सलिलमुत्पन्नं तमसीव तमः परम् । तस्माच्च सलिलोत्पीडादुदतिष्ठत मारुतः ॥ ५० ॥
tataḥ salilamutpannaṃ tamasīva tamaḥ param | tasmācca salilotpīḍādudatiṣṭhata mārutaḥ || 50 ||
Kemudian air pun terbit—seperti kegelapan yang lebih pekat muncul dari kegelapan itu sendiri. Dan daripada gelora serta tekanan di dalam air itu, Māruta, Sang Angin, bangkit.
