वञ्चयामास दुर्धर्षं मुद्गरं स महाबलः तस्मिन्नपसृते दूरं चण्डानां भीमकर्मणाम् //
vañcayāmāsa durdharṣaṃ mudgaraṃ sa mahābalaḥ tasminnapasṛte dūraṃ caṇḍānāṃ bhīmakarmaṇām //
Yang perkasa itu dengan cekap mengelak gada yang sukar ditangkis; dan apabila ia terpelanting jauh, ia jatuh pada jarak tertentu di tengah-tengah kaum Caṇḍa, para pelaku perbuatan mengerikan.
