devānāṃ dānavaṃ rūpaṃ dānavānāṃ ca daivikam matvā surānsvakāneva jaghne ghorāstralāghavāt //

Translation

Menyangka para Deva telah mengambil rupa daṇava, dan para daṇava pula berwujud ilahi, dia pun menewaskan para Deva seolah-olah musuhnya sendiri—dengan pantas, berkat kecekapan mengerahkan senjata-senjata yang menggerunkan.
