हा वयं योगविभ्रष्टाः कामतः कर्मबन्धनाः एवं विलप्य बहुशस् त्रयस्ते योगपारगाः //
hā vayaṃ yogavibhraṣṭāḥ kāmataḥ karmabandhanāḥ evaṃ vilapya bahuśas trayaste yogapāragāḥ //
“Aduhai! Kami telah tersasar daripada Yoga; kerana nafsu, kami terbelenggu oleh ikatan karma.” Demikianlah mereka meratap berulang-ulang; tiga orang itu—yang dahulu pernah menyeberang ke seberang Yoga—berkata.
