Matsya Purana — The Strategy to Defeat Tāraka: Pārvatī’s Birth, Shloka 32

सचराचरनिर्मथने किमिति कितवस्तु कृतो विहितो भवता किल देव त्वया स्थितये जगतां महदद्भुतचित्रविचिगुणाः //

sacarācaranirmathane kimiti kitavastu kṛto vihito bhavatā kila deva tvayā sthitaye jagatāṃ mahadadbhutacitraviciguṇāḥ //

Wahai Tuhan, mengapakah dalam pengadukan yang menggoncang segala yang bergerak dan tidak bergerak itu, Engkau mengatur suatu “helah tipu daya” yang menakjubkan? Demi kestabilan dunia-dunia, Engkau—yang dikurniai keunggulan besar, mengagumkan, pelbagai dan beraneka—telah menetapkannya.
