Matsya Purana — Ritual Bathing
It does not describe pralaya directly; it functions as a protective invocation (stuti) seeking continuous safeguarding from pāpa across the entire lifespan.
It frames ethical life as requiring ongoing purity and protection from wrongdoing; for kings and householders, it supports the Purāṇic ideal of guarding conduct (dharma) and seeking divine aid to avoid and expiate sin.
Architectural rules are not mentioned; ritually, it serves as a stotra/mantra-like appeal for protection, suitable for recitation in daily worship, expiatory contexts, or before rites seeking purity.
