सर्वशास्त्राण्यनुक्रम्य संक्षिप्य ग्रन्थविस्तरम् ग्रहशान्तिं प्रवक्ष्यामि पुराणश्रुतिचोदिताम् //

Transliteration

sarvaśāstrāṇyanukramya saṃkṣipya granthavistaram grahaśāntiṃ pravakṣyāmi purāṇaśruticoditām //

Translation

Setelah meneliti semua śāstra menurut tertibnya dan meringkaskan perincian yang luas, kini aku akan mengajarkan upacara pendamaian bagi planet-planet (graha-śānti), sebagaimana diperintahkan oleh tradisi Purāṇa dan śruti yang suci.
