Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
ततोऽतिकोपपूर्णस्य चक्रिणो वदनात्ततः । निष्चक्राम महत्तेजो ब्रह्मणः शङ्करस्य च ॥
tato 'tikopapūrṇasya cakriṇo vadanāt tataḥ / niścakrāma mahat tejo brahmaṇaḥ śaṅkarasya ca
Kemudian, dari mulut pemegang cakra (Vishnu), yang dipenuhi murka yang dahsyat, terpancar sinar kemilau yang agung; demikian pula dari Brahmā dan dari Śaṅkara (Shiva).
The corrective force arises from the convergence of multiple divine competencies; when a problem exceeds a single domain, coordinated power becomes necessary.
Carita with theological emphasis: it explains the origin of the Goddess in narrative form rather than cosmological sarga.
‘From the mouth/face’ suggests the outward projection of will and command (vāk/saṅkalpa). The Goddess is born from concentrated intention and luminous awareness.
