Adhyaya 82 — Death of Shumbha
केषाञ्चिद्वाहवश्छिन्नाश्छिन्नग्रीवास्तथापरे ।
शिरांसि पेतुरन्येषामन्ये मध्ये विदारिताः ॥
keṣāñcid bāhavaś chinnāś chinnagrīvās tathāpare | śirāṃsi petur anyeṣām anye madhye vidāritāḥ ||
Ada yang terpenggal lengannya; yang lain terputus lehernya. Ada yang kepalanya gugur; yang lain terbelah dua di bahagian tengah.
