Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
सापि देवी ततस्तानि शस्त्राण्यस्त्राणि चण्डिका ।
लीलयैव प्रचिच्छेद निजशस्त्रास्त्रवर्षिणी ॥
sāpi devī tatastāni śastrāṇyastrāṇi caṇḍikā / līlayaiva praciccheda nijaśastrāstravarṣiṇī
Kemudian Dewi—Chandikā—dengan gaya seolah-olah bermain, memotong berkeping-keping segala senjata dan peluru itu, sementara Baginda sendiri menurunkan hujan senjata serta peluru ilahi milik-Nya.
