Adhyaya 51 — Yaksha Injunctions: Graha-Children and Female Spirits Causing Domestic and Ritual Disruptions
तेनात्मरक्षणायालं शान्तिं कुर्याद्विजोत्तम ।
गेहे प्रसूतिर् एतेषां तद्वन् नीडनिवेशनम् ॥
tenātma-rakṣaṇāyālaṃ śāntiṃ kuryād dvijottama | gehe prasūtir eteṣāṃ tadvan nīḍa-niveśanam ||
Oleh itu, demi melindungi diri, hendaklah dilakukan upacara śānti (penenteraman), wahai yang terbaik antara para brāhmaṇa. Demikian juga, jika makhluk-makhluk ini beranak di dalam rumah, atau mendirikan sarang di sana, itu pun petanda tidak baik.
