अब्रह्मचारिणाधीतमिज्या चाविदुषा कृता ।

तपोवने ग्राम्यभुजां तथैवानिर्वजितात्मनाम् ॥

abrahmacāriṇādhītam ijyā cāviduṣā kṛtā | tapovane grāmyabhujāṃ tathaivānirvajitātmanām ||

“Ilmu yang diperoleh oleh orang yang tidak berpantang/berbudi susila, korban suci yang dilakukan oleh orang jahil, dan kehidupan bertapa di rimba oleh mereka yang masih memakan makanan ‘seperti orang kampung’ (mewah dan memanjakan)—demikian juga oleh mereka yang fikirannya belum disucikan—(semuanya cacat).”
