Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
इत्येतास्तनवस्तस्य देवदेवस्य धीमतः ।
ख्याता रात्र्यहनी चैव सन्ध्या ज्योत्स्ना च वै द्विज ॥
ity etās tanavas tasya devadevasya dhīmataḥ / khyātā rātry-ahanī caiva sandhyā jyotsnā ca vai dvija
Demikianlah dinyatakan tubuh-tubuh Tuhan yang bijaksana, Penguasa para dewa: malam dan siang, sandhyā (waktu peralihan), dan sinar bulan (jyotsnā), wahai yang dua kali lahir.
