Adhyaya 47 — Brahma’s Awakening and the Ninefold Scheme of Creation
ऊर्ध्वस्रोतस्तृतीयस्तु सात्त्विकः समवर्तत ।
ते सुखप्रीतिबहुला बहिरन्तस्त्वनावृताः ॥
ūrdhvastrotas tṛtīyas tu sāttvikaḥ samavartata /
te sukhaprītibahulā bahir antas tv anāvṛtāḥ ||
Ciptaan ketiga, yang dinamai ‘ūrdhva-srotas’ (mengalir ke atas), muncul sebagai bersifat sāttvika. Mereka melimpah dengan kebahagiaan dan kegembiraan, serta tidak terselubung pada zahir mahupun batin.
