Adhyaya 26Madālasa Names Alarka and Reorients Him Toward Kshatriya Duty

सर्वगो न प्रयातीति व्यापी देहेश्वरो यतः /

ततो विक्रान्तसंज्ञेयं मता मम निरर्थिका

sarvago na prayātīti vyāpī deheśvaro yataḥ | tato vikrāntasaṃjñeyaṃ matā mama nirarthikā ||

“Oleh sebab Tuhan yang meliputi segala di dalam tubuh ini tidak ‘pergi’ ke mana-mana, maka gelaran ‘Vikrānta’—yang melangkah/bergerak—pada hematku adalah tidak bermakna.”
