Adhyaya 23Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati

विहस्य चाब्रवीत् प्रेम्णा साधु भो द्विजसत्तमौ ।

कथयामासतुस् तौ च पितरं पन्नगेश्वरम् ॥

vihasya cābravīt premṇā sādhu bho dvijasattamau | kathayāmāsatus tau ca pitaraṃ pannageśvaram ||

Sambil tersenyum, dia berkata dengan penuh kasih sayang: 'Kata-kata yang baik, wahai yang terbaik dari kalangan kelahiran dua kali (Brahmin)!' Dan kedua-duanya kemudian memberitahunya tentang bapa mereka, raja segala ular.
