जड उवाच एवमुक्त्वा ययौ सोऽथ सह ताभ्यां नृपात्मजः ।
प्राप्तश्च गोमतीं पुण्यां निर्गम्य नगराद्वहिः ॥
jaḍa uvāca evam uktvā yayau so 'tha saha tābhyāṃ nṛpātmajaḥ / prāptaś ca gomatīṃ puṇyāṃ nirgamya nagarād bahiḥ
Jaḍa berkata: “Setelah berkata demikian, putera raja itu pun berangkat bersama dua orang itu; dan setelah keluar dari kota, ia sampai ke sungai Gomati yang suci.”
