Adhyaya 23Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati

तमुत्थाप्य बलाद्गाढं नागेन्द्रः परिषस्वजे ।

मूर्ध्नि चैनमुपाघ्राय चिरं जीवेत्युवाच सः ॥

tam utthāpya balād gāḍhaṃ nāgendraḥ pariṣasvaje | mūrdhni cainam upāghrāya ciraṃ jīveti uvāca saḥ ||

Dengan kuat Nāgendra mengangkatnya lalu memeluknya erat; kemudian mencium (menghidu) ubun-ubunnya dan berkata: “Semoga engkau panjang umur.”
