Seeking refuge in realized wisdom is portrayed as a sacred journey culminating in darśana. The presence of ‘Lakṣmī’ indicates that true tapas is not barren; it radiates auspiciousness.
Narrative episode (vaṃśānucarita-style storytelling) used to convey dharma and the efficacy of tapas.
The hermitage signifies the inner ‘āśrama’ of stillness; ‘Lakṣmī’ suggests the siddhi-like luminosity that accompanies inner purity, drawing even devas toward it.
