यत्रासक्तिपरस्यात्मा मम संसारबन्धनैः ।

नैति योगमयोगोऽपि तं योगमधुना वद ॥

yatrāsakti-parasyātmā mama saṃsāra-bandhanaiḥ |

naiti yogam ayogo 'pi taṃ yogam adhunā vada ||

Wahai tuan, jelaskanlah kepadaku kini yoga itu, yang dengannya diriku, bertekad pada ketidak-melekat, tidak jatuh ke dalam belenggu oleh ikatan saṃsāra—di mana bahkan “bukan-yoga” pun tidak menjadi “yoga” yang lain (hubungan yang mengikat).
