Adhyaya 11 — The Son’s Discourse on Embryogenesis, Birth, and the Wheel of Saṃsāra
स्वर्गेऽपि दुःखमतुलं यदारोहणकालतः ।
प्रभृत्यहं पतिष्यामीत्येतन्मनसि वर्तते ॥
svarge ’pi duḥkham atulaṁ yad ārohaṇa-kālataḥ | prabhṛty ahaṁ patiṣyāmīty etan manasi vartate ||
Bahkan di syurga pun ada dukacita yang tiada bandingan, kerana sejak saat naik ke sana, fikiran tetap tinggal di hati: “Dari sana aku akan jatuh kembali.”

Even meritorious heavenly enjoyments are unstable; the fear of losing them is itself suffering. Therefore one should seek a goal beyond karma’s temporary fruits—mokṣa.
Primarily Dharma/karma-phala instruction within the Purāṇic teaching mode; it is not a direct unit of sarga/pratisarga/manvantara/vaṃśa/vaṃśānucarita, but a didactic passage supporting dharma and liberation.
‘Heaven’ symbolizes any elevated state attained by effort; the latent anxiety of impermanence reveals bondage. Insight into impermanence becomes the inner trigger for renunciation and liberating knowledge.
