पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्
Identification of the Pāṇḍavas in Virāṭa’s Court
रश्मीन् समुत्सृूज्य ततो महात्मा रथादवप्लुत्य विराटपुत्र: । वस्त्राण्युपादाय महारथानां तूर्ण पुनः स्वं रथमारुरोह
raśmīn samutsṛjya tato mahātmā rathād avaplutya virāṭa-putraḥ | vastrāṇy upādāya mahā-rathānāṃ tūrṇaṃ punaḥ svaṃ ratham āruroha ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Lalu putera Virāṭa yang berhati luhur melepaskan tali kekang dan melompat turun dari kereta perang. Setelah mengambil pakaian para maharathi itu, dia segera memanjat naik semula ke keretanya sendiri—suatu tindakan tergesa-gesa yang menyingkapkan betapa gentingnya saat itu, namun juga suatu kelalaian terhadap kebijaksanaan di tengah tekanan pertempuran.
