Reassuring the Kuru Soldiers; Proclaiming Victory
नराश्चकायान् निर्भिद्य लौहानि कवचानि च । पार्थस्य शरजालानि विनिष्पेतु: सहस्रश:,पार्थके सहस्नों बाणसमुदाय मनुष्यों और घोड़ोंके शरीरोंको छेदकर और उनके लोहेके बने हुए कवचोंको भी छिन्न-भिन्न करके नीचे गिरा रहे थे
narāś ca kāyān nirbhidya lauhāni kavacāni ca | pārthasya śarajālāni viniṣpetuḥ sahasraśaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Menembusi tubuh manusia dan memecahkan bahkan zirah besi mereka, rentetan anak panah Pārtha yang padat jatuh beribu-ribu—gambaran daya perang yang melimpah, ketika kemahiran dan tekad menjadikan medan tempur suatu akibat yang tidak terelakkan.
