Adhyāya 6: Kaṅka (Yudhiṣṭhira) Seeks Refuge in Virāṭa’s Assembly
ये स्मरन्ति महादेवि न च सीदन्ति ते नरा: । त्वं कीर्ति: श्रीर्धति: सिद्धिद्नोर्विद्या संततिर्मति:
ye smaranti mahādevi na ca sīdanti te narāḥ | tvaṁ kīrtiḥ śrīr dhṛtiḥ siddhir jñānaṁ vidyā santatir matiḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai Dewi Agung, mereka yang mengingati engkau tidak tenggelam dalam putus asa. Engkaulah kemasyhuran dan kemakmuran mereka, keteguhan hati dan kejayaan; engkaulah pengetahuan dan pembelajaran, keturunan dan kesinambungan, serta daya pertimbangan yang bijaksana.”
