Vaiśampāyana berkata: Melihatnya dalam rupa demikian, sebahagian askar ketawa. Melihat dia meluru dengan pantas, orang-orang Kaurava pun bersuara.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how outward appearance can provoke contempt or misjudgment, especially in wartime. It implicitly cautions against arrogance and superficial assessment, since a seemingly laughable guise may conceal real power and intent.
Some soldiers see a person approaching in an unusual appearance and laugh. As he runs quickly toward them, the Kauravas notice and begin speaking—setting up a confrontation shaped by their initial mockery and surprise.
