शमीवृक्षस्थायुधप्रकाशनम् / Revelation and Identification of the Weapons on the Śamī Tree
ततस्तांश्वोदयामास सदश्वान् पाण्डुनन्दन: । ते हया नरसिंहेन नोदिता वातरंहस: । आलिखन्त इवाकाशमूहु: काज्चनमालिन:,तब पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुनने उत्तरके उत्तम जातिके घोड़ोंको हाँका और उनकी बाग ढीली कर दी। नरश्रेष्ठ अर्जुनके हाँकनेपर सोनेकी माला पहने हुए वे घोड़े हवाके समान वेगसे चलने लगे, मानो आकाशगमें अपनी टाप अड़ाते हुए रथ लिये उड़े जा रहे हों
tatas tān śvodayāmāsa sadaśvān pāṇḍunandanaḥ | te hayā narasiṃhena noditā vātarāṃhasaḥ | ālikhanta ivākāśam ūhuḥ kāñcanamālinaḥ ||
Maka putera Pāṇḍu pun menggesa kuda-kuda unggul itu. Didorong oleh Arjuna, singa di antara manusia, kuda-kuda yang berkalungkan untaian emas itu meluru dengan laju seumpama angin, seakan-akan kuku mereka menggores langit ketika membawa kereta perang mara ke hadapan.
