कृपवाक्यं तथा नीत्युपदेशः

भीष्म: समवदत्‌ तत्र गिरं साधुभिरचिंताम्‌ । यश्नैष ब्राह्मण: प्राह द्रोण: सर्वार्थतत्त्ववित्‌,इस प्रकार भीष्मजीने वहाँ सत्पुरुषोंद्वारा प्रशंसित सम्यक्‌ वचन कहा--“सब विषयोंके तत्त्वज्ञ तथा विप्रवर आचार्य द्रोणने जैसा कहा है, वह ठीक है

bhīṣmaḥ samavadat tatra giraṃ sādhubhir acintām | yathnaiṣa brāhmaṇaḥ prāha droṇaḥ sarvārtha-tattvavit ||

Di situ Bhīṣma mengucapkan kata-kata yang matang dan dipuji orang saleh: “Apa yang telah dinyatakan oleh Droṇa, sang Brahmana—yang mengetahui hakikat segala perkara—adalah benar.”
