सैरन्ध्युवाच त्रयोदशाहमात्र मे राजा क्षाम्यतु भामिनि । कृतकृत्या भविष्यन्ति गन्धर्वास्ते न संशय:,सैरन्ध्रीने कहा--भामिनि! मेरे लिये तेरह दिन और महाराज क्षमा करें। निःसंदेह तबतक गन्धर्वों-का अभीष्ट कार्य पूर्ण हो जायगा--वे कृतकृत्य हो जायँगे
sairandhry uvāca trayodaśāhamātra me rājā kṣāmyatu bhāmini | kṛtakṛtyā bhaviṣyanti gandharvās te na saṁśayaḥ ||
Sairandhrī berkata: “Wahai wanita yang berapi, biarlah raja mengampuni aku hanya tiga belas hari lagi. Menjelang saat itu, tanpa ragu, para Gandharva itu akan menyelesaikan tugas yang mereka kehendaki dan akan berpuas hati sepenuhnya.”
