Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 22 — Draupadī’s Abduction Attempt and Bhīma’s Suppression of the Kīcakas
मां सुखं प्रतिपद्यस्व दासो भीरु भवामि ते । अद्वाय तव सुश्रोणि शतं निष्कान् ददाम्यहम्,'भीरु! सुखपूर्वक मुझे स्वीकार कर लो, फिर तो मैं तुम्हारा दास बन जाऊँगा। सुश्रोणि! मैं तुम्हारे दैनिक खर्चके लिये प्रतिदिन सौ मोहरें देता रहूँगा
māṃ sukhaṃ pratipadyasva dāso bhīru bhavāmi te | advāya tava suśroṇi śataṃ niṣkān dadāmy aham ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai yang penakut, terimalah aku dengan rela dan dalam kesenangan; aku akan menjadi hambamu. Wahai wanita yang elok pinggulnya, untuk belanja harianmu aku akan memberikan seratus niṣka setiap hari.”
