Educational Q&A

A dharmic guide offers reassurance and auspicious counsel to one in distress, then departs without attachment or expectation—compassionate action combined with humility and non-possessiveness.

After Damayantī speaks (or after something is said to her), Parṇāda—described as noble-hearted—consoles her with blessings. Having completed his role, he leaves and returns home, while Bṛhadaśva narrates this to the listener.
