Śiva Grants the Pāśupata Astra (Pāśupata-Śastra Upadeśa) | शिवेन पाशुपतास्त्रदानम्
ततोडर्जुनो महातेजा लोकपालान् समागतान् | पूजयामास विधिवद् वाग्भिरद्धि: फलैरपि,तत्पश्चात् महातेजस्वी अर्जुनने वहाँ पधारे हुए लोकपालोंका मीठे वचन, जल और फलोंके द्वारा भी विधिपूर्वक पूजन किया
tato 'rjuno mahātejā lokapālān samāgatān | pūjayāmāsa vidhivad vāgbhir adbhir phalair api ||
Kemudian Arjuna, yang bersinar dengan tenaga agung, menghormati para penjaga alam yang berhimpun itu menurut adat yang wajar. Mengikut tatacara, dia menyambut mereka dengan kata-kata sopan, air sebagai jamuan tetamu, dan buah-buahan—menzahirkan hormat yang berdisiplin terhadap kewibawaan ilahi serta etika memuliakan tetamu.
