Karna–Indra Exchange of Kavaca-Kuṇḍala for the Vāsavī-Śakti

Success in worldly aims and especially in conflict depends greatly on reliable support; strong allies multiply one’s capacity. The verse underscores the ethical-political value of loyal companionship and competent partnership as a foundation for rightful achievement.
Mārkaṇḍeya emphasizes the advantage of having powerful support, pointing specifically to Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) as an unsurpassed ally. By praising the strength conferred by such a brother, he reassures the listener about victory and the near-impossibility of defeat in battle.
