ततः प्राप्तं त्वया वीर ग्रहणं शत्रुभिर्बलात्‌

tataḥ prāptaṃ tvayā vīra grahaṇaṃ śatrubhir balāt

Kemudian, wahai wira, terjadilah bahawa engkau telah ditangkap oleh musuh-musuhmu dengan kekuatan semata-mata—suatu peristiwa yang menegaskan bahawa bahkan yang gagah pun boleh ditundukkan apabila daya permusuhan berhimpun, dan bahawa ketabahan serta kelakuan menurut dharma diuji di bawah paksaan.
