पञ्चवर्णोत्पत्तिः — The Origin of the Five-Colored Fiery Being and Ritual-Disruptor Lineages

शब्द स्पर्श तथा रूप॑ गन्धानिष्टांश्ष सत्तम

śabda-sparśa tathā rūpaṁ gandhān iṣṭāṁś ca sattama

Pemburu itu berkata: “Wahai yang terbaik antara manusia, bunyi, sentuhan, dan rupa—demikian juga bau-bauan yang menyenangkan—itulah objek-objek pancaindera.” Dalam ajaran ini, dia mula membingkai disiplin etika dengan terlebih dahulu menamakan tarikan inderawi yang lazim menarik minda ke luar dan menjadi titik mula keterikatan serta kelalaian moral jika tidak ditundukkan oleh dharma.
