Shloka 40

स चेन्निवृत्तबन्धस्तु विशुद्धश्नापि कर्मभि: । प्राप्नोति सुकृताललोकान्‌ यत्र गत्वा न शोचति,इस प्रकार बन्धनरहित तथा शुद्ध हुआ मनुष्य अपने पुण्य कर्मोके प्रभावसे पुण्यलोक प्राप्त करता है, जहाँ जाकर कोई भी शोक नहीं करता है

sa cennivṛttabandhastu viśuddhaḥ snāpi karmabhiḥ | prāpnoti sukṛtāl lokān yatra gatvā na śocati ||

Pemburu itu berkata: Jika seseorang benar-benar menarik diri daripada ikatan duniawi dan menjadi suci di batin, maka—walaupun masih terus bertindak—dia mencapai alam-alam yang diperoleh melalui pahala kebajikan. Setelah sampai ke dunia-dunia yang bertuah itu, tiadalah lagi dukacita di sana.
