सप्तभिर्दिवसै: खात्वा दृष्टो धुन्धुर्महाबल: । कुवलाश्वके पुत्रोंने सात दिनोंतक खुदाई करनेके बाद उस बालुकामय समुद्रमें (छिपे हुए) महाबली धुन्धुको देखा
saptabhir divasaiḥ khātvā dṛṣṭo dhundhur mahābalaḥ | kuvalāśvake putraiḥ sa balukāmaye samudre (channaḥ) ||
Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: Setelah menggali selama tujuh hari, putera-putera Kuvalāśva akhirnya melihat Dhundhu yang maha perkasa, tersembunyi di dalam ‘laut’ pasir itu.
